Autumn At The Old Mill is one of the largest paintings I have attempted. It measures 36" x 48" and was created exclusively with Bob Ross paints and brushes. I began with a black canvas and painted in stages, letting each stage dry completely. After applying Liquid Clear over the dried areas I added more and more detail to bring the painting to life. The little boy with the fishing pole is my son at 12 years old. If you look closely you can see fish swimming just below the surface downstream from the falls. It took me about 2 months working in stages to complete this painting, but well worth the effort.
Absolute fantastic painting! I'll have to add a feature to the website to upload more pictures to a painting so you can show us some detail shots!
Absolutely stunning! Congrats Wayne, you have my complete admiration, as well as for your other recently shared paintings!
Absolutely amazing!
Stunning painting! Inspiring idea to make several layers and use liquid clear on dried areas. Thanks for that tip.

I really love the color choices in the foreground water. So much wonderful detail in this painting throughout. Nice work!
